The Journal of Applied and Environmental Science has agreed to open a call-for-papers for a special issue in "Quantitative Soil Spectroscopy".

An interactive 3 days workshop on modeling soil spectral information will take place in the GFZ-Potsdam Germany on August 29-31, 2011, in the GEo-Lab facility with 25 computing places. The workshop will offer a practical training in commercial and experimental software packages: UnscramblerX, ParLes, Parcuda, HYSOMA. The deadline for application is April 26, 2011.

The workshop is open to all members of the EWG-Soil group.

Available is
