EnMAP was the first spaceborne sensor ever to be able to detect Rare-Earth-Elements, and its high data quality has been recognized in several science publications for its higher potential for mineral identification and mapping in many areas around the world.
In this way, EnMAP supports the targeted search for raw materials for batteries, renewable energy, and other technologies that are part of our everyday lives.
